Mission Motorsport is a UK Armed Forces charity dedicated to supporting the recovery, rehabilitation, and successful transition of serving personnel, veterans, and service leavers affected by their military service.
Through its core mission of Race | Retrain | Recover, the charity uses motorsport, work experience, and community-based events to help beneficiaries rebuild confidence, improve wellbeing, and successfully transition into civilian life. The organisation supports thousands of members of the Armed Forces community every year through recovery events.
Alongside Mission Motorsport, Mission Community operates as a closely related organisation, focused on Advocacy and programme delivery. Together, the two entities support a distributed workforce, a wide beneficiary network, and a growing set of digital services, all while operating under the financial and governance constraints typical of the not-for-profit sector.

As the organisation grew, its technology environment had evolved organically. This resulted in a fragmented Microsoft 365 environment across two tenants, inconsistent security controls and backup coverage, limited visibility of devices, and users working across multiple accounts. These issues created friction for staff and reduced confidence in the organisation’s overall security posture.

Leadership and trustees gained greater assurance that the organisation was meeting its duty of care around information security while remaining operationally efficient.
